Haskell, Texas is a small town with a big attitude. It's scrappy and aggressive. Haskell enjoys itself. Haskell is proud of its charms and is prepared to do what it takes to ensure its quality of life. That means extending a warm welcome to you and your family, and showing you why Haskell is a great place to live and work.
Located 55 miles north of Abilene at the bustling intersection of US HWY 277 and 380, Haskell was established before the US Civil War by the state legislature to honor Texas Revolutionary War hero Charles Ready Haskell.
Today Haskell is the center of commerce for 12 surrounding counties and is home to 3,500 people.
